The Challenge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This brownfield project involved the complex replacement of the entire signalling system of the Glasgow Subway while maintaining the existing infrastructure, with the goal of introducing a fully automated, driverless CBTC technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Contribution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On behalf of Hitachi, Te.Si.Fer. managed the complete installation engineering lifecycle, ensuring the seamless integration of all complex project subsystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key activities included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Installation engineering for CBTC systems, including ATS, ATP, ATO and O&M subsystems.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Subsystem coordination and compliance verification activities supporting system commissioning and handover.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • End-to-end project execution, from on-site surveys and data collection through detailed design to As-Built documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Outcome<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The project enabled the modernization of two railway loops, covering a total of 20 km and 15 stations, supporting the transition to a state-of-the-art, fully automated metro system capable of safely operating the new rolling stock fleet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
